Where were you, the savior of Marathi Manoos when one by one they were dying at Trident,Oberoi,Taj and Nariman House.Where were your party cadres ,who to safeguard the rights of Marathi people go on rampage - burn buses,destroy buildings and beat people to their death.Why your workers ,who have all put the brave front against the outsiders,were holed up inside their houses when these outsiders(Pakistanis) came to kill your people.Why they proved to be toothless when it came to crunch?
Raj Thackery-First of all "Jai Maharashtra".To answer your question-We did not come to fight at Nariman House because the hostages were Isrealies not Marathis.We did not come for the rescue of people at Taj because the hotel is of Ratan Tata whose largest asset(Tata Steel) is at Jamshedpur.To remind you this is the place from where the warrant was issued against me.Moreover the working staff of Taj has very less or no Marathis at all.To add to this;those who were stranded at the Taj were mostly from corporate world and i am against all the business big-wigs because they employ more outsiders than insiders.
But Sir according to a survey 90 % jobs in Maharashtra are already occupied by Maharashtrians?
Thackerey-Our love for people is absolute so we want all jobs to be reserved for Marathis.

We want our people to get employment.We want our people to get work for rebuilding the hotel that is why we never thought of salvaging the hotel from collateral damage.

I guess Hemand Karkare, Salaskar, Kamte and their MARATHI colleagues should have first counted how many marathis are trapped inside the buildings, and then only decided whether to risk their lives. Coz even though so many marathi cops have died to save Mumbai, marathis are now being told that 'north indian army' has saved them. There are so many marathi soldiers who hv died for this country..and are still at the border as I type this..I guess their sacrifices are in vain. General ArunKumar Vaidya who led the country during the Punjab Khalistan war, and who was killed by Khalistani terrorists was a marathi. He must hv been a fool to die for 'north indians', right?
Besides, what exactly was Raj supposed to do? You are talking as if all other politicians were battling it out at the Taj and taking bullets, while only Raj Thackeray was missing.He quietly went to meet the cops' families, his party arranged medical assistance camps..but he didn't exploit this in front of media. He didnt cause unnecessary extra pressure on d already stressed cops, unlike PM, Advani, Sonia who caused more pressure to d cops, and whose 'visits' were useless and unnecessary. Why didn't rahul gandhi go to save Taj, for example!
Unlike NORTH INDIAN leaders like lalu, abu azmi, amar singh, RAJ has never supported SIMI, Afzal guru etc.

The article was just referring to Raj Thackery and his parochial attitude.
Finger has never been pointed to the martyrs who laid their lives to save others be it Gajendra Singh or Late Mr. Karkare or anyone.Neha...you have unnecessarily brought these brave cops, who died, into the discussion.
This was just an attempt to show that no one save for some politicians think on regional lines.
Even you here by your examples have confirmed that the soldiers fight for country as a whole not for states.
That is what we as Indians want these politicians (especially those who are dividing this country on regional lines)to understand that this propaganda of theirs will only lead to regional hatred.
When u said that reports were being flashed that some north indians fought to save Mumbai.You actually took it in wrong sense.It was to show to politicians like Mr. Raj that whole country was standing with Mumbaikars during the time of crisis and thus branding north Indians as hostile(towards Maharashtra and its culture) cannot be true in any sense .
To tell you - peace march was held in Lucknow on Saturday to pray for the three policemen who died.Similar march was held in Bhopal as well.
You mentioned that MNS organized medical camps but here againg you were diverted from the topic of discussion.Anger in our minds is not for the good they do but for the harm they have done -beating innocents who came to take Railway exam.

this discussion would have never been done had our politicians prevented themselves from dividing country by raising such menial issues.
