Seventeen out of twenty years of my life i have lost in studying.From the time i started my conscious life to this very day one thing which has never left following me ,is education.Throughout; my life's worth has been judged by one sole parameter and that is my academic achievements.Being a person from a modest family,the only way that was shown to me to excel in life was 'academics'.Never have i learnt anything but maths formulas and physics concepts.Never have i played anything but scramble.Never have i taken pride in anything but my academic record.Never have i been taught lessons of life but maths lessons.
We are always expected to excel in every sphere of life but are never provided with any encouragement to pursue our interests.All the gifts that we get are subjected to only one condition i.e. score marks or surrender gifts.Many say that their parents never force them to study ,never buy them things in lieu of marks.If this is so then my dear friends -'you have been good in studies throughout your life'.
No one can be cynical about benefits that education offers but my argument is why one has no right to study all subjects till class tenth and why do have only two options(Science and Commerce) to choose from in class 11.Do we only want scientists and economists?Why can't we have other subjects like political science,home science and arts etc as options in class eleventh.Why is that choosing of subjects is only after 10th ...why cannot be it from class 6th onwards.
If we want through professionals in every field then we ought to train students from class 6th onwards.In our system of education no one chooses subjects in class eleventh based on their liking but according to marks they have scored in boards.Students on one side ,even schools allow children to take only those subjects in which they have scored decent marks in boards.To justify our choice at the time of interview(job or college) we keep on opting subjects in which we have scored good marks not the one in which we interest.
Educational boards have encouraged only rote learning.In boards we have larger share of marks reserved for theory and rest for practicals.How can we have effective workers when our practical knowledge in zero.For instance i have scored good marks throughout my B.C.A. but my practical knowledge when it comes to building applications and web-sites in comparable to zero.My marks may be better but my practical knowledge is in totters.We respect only marks not knowledge.Let me tell you some things about how practicals are conducted in class twelfth boards but before that one more fact-In ICSE boards there is no practical exam for class tenth students.Now let me tell you how effective are class twelfth practicals.In my school before board practicals we were told about the correct reading in advance,what was expected of us was not accuracy in terms of experiment but in terms of reading.Do not blame my school only because other schools were no different.
Our Education Minister may have abolished class tenth boards but what is left to be abolished is parochial and single dimensional route that is available to us for education.Let us try to give a child what he wants to study not what he hates to study.

Return us YSR...may be take away Mayawati!
"You may be gone tomorrow but that does not mean you were not here today".
A man from a humble background, with larger than life personality, will leave us in such a smaller than parasite manner ,was never expected and wanted.A doctor from M.R. College of Gulbarga never lacked intent to work for downtrodden.Late Dr. YSR Reddy(Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh) right from his young days contributed towards the welfare of the society.
He started his career as a medical practitioner and ended it as the most able chief minister.He is one such rare person who believed only in giving.He gave so much to the society that even God helped him in his endeavor.When He(God) realized that YSR has given enough to the society in terms of work ,He(God) decided to help him in giving something much more to the civilization - INSPIRATION and MOTIVATION.
By his death he may have left a void in our already void polity but his unfortunate end will inspire and motivate many more to walk the path that he has shown.As the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh he started many schemes(for complete detalis refer wikipedia) and now when he is gone only prayer that we want to be answered is - "May his successor prove as worthy as he".
I have heard about miracles but now i want to believe in them and my belief will only come if death of YSR can be replaced with that of unworthy chief ministers...may be Mayawati...may be former CM Mulayam Singh.One one hand we have YRS's career full of achievements and on the other we have controversy ridden disdainful career of Mayawati.May be God wanted that only but cloudy weather which proved detrimental to his life made "Yamraj" mistook him for her.

How to add to calamities!!!
Calamity when runs its normal course kills thousand but when some fools like us join hands to add to the grandiosity quotient ;it kills millions.
Those who are uneducated work to support adverseness because they are ignorant but educated ones are no better.May be education emphasizes more on our own survival rather than survival of whole humanity.
Whole Nation (i know i have exaggerated ) is in grip of Swine Flu and there seems no way out of this.Precautionary measures are hardly available except for N-95 masks.If one thinks logically - it is very difficult for health care companies to provide these masks for 1.1 billion people so from this we learn that only those who are at high risk of getting infected should purchase and wear those masks but we seldom think logically.
In Lucknow ,i have seen people , who are at minimal risk of taking in H1N1 virus, are wearing masks ,just to add to the style statement(I know it hardly adds to style index but how to tell these fools about that).As the result of this, people of other regions, like Pune, are facing severe crunch for these protective masks.Earlier those masks were cheap(no pun intended)enough for the poor to buy and protect themselves from spending thousands of rupees from the treatment of Swine Flu but now their prices are there where even a middle class student studying in Pune cannot reach.Leave alone the price-money can somehow be managed but they are short in supply where they are needed the most.Black marketing has resulted in nearly two fold increase in its price.
Aforementioned example talked about general public now let us criticize our very own beloved cricketer Harbhajan Singh.He who carries armed men along with him, remains more than six feet away from general public (H1N1 virus can travel upto six feet in air) and move in his luxurious SUV(far away from crowd) is promoting something which is sending wrong signals .He is flaunting his N-95 mask everywhere again urging the rich to buy and wear it even though they hardly come in contact with people.
Now let us talk about those who are uneducated(i have least problem with these people because they do not know what they are doing)-Pan Walas ,Nukkad Chai walas and all other small scale entrepreneurs are selling masks .These are not those masks which are not even available at the chemist shop.People are buying these - thinking they are safe but these ordinary masks cannot even protect from pollution ,forget about Swine Flu.So this is how uneducated lot is adding to the problem in a very special way.
Now if you guys also want your mention in my rarely read blog ,please buy masks unnecessarily .

Back To Square One
Events in my life have always kept me on toes.When happiness comes my way...i start believing in God but when it is gone ,it takes away my faith in Him.I have been trying very hard to change my Orkut "religion" field but every time i am close to do that , i see happiness going away from me.Why good things always come in small quantities.Why is there logic behind everything.Why cant logic stay away from love.
When i was close to achieve one of the goals that i have set for me ,i was shown the door.When i was enjoying the madness of love ,i was forced to understand the importance of good sense.
The duration of my recent happiness was just 2 days.The (supposedly)good qualities that i posses have done me more harm than good.The quality(in me) which i thought was getting me closer to my ultimate aim was actually taking me away from it.
Now that "she" has gone ,i have become too free.Earlier i was not getting time to focus on anything but now i am busy with nothing.Earlier i was telling everyone the reason for my sudden happiness(even though they were not interested in that) ,but now that two days of happiness have passed, i am in no mood to tell them the reason for my sadness.These two days have taught me lessons that i do not wish to learn.
I have been overwhelmed by emotions.I cry while talking.Now smile transforms into tears in no time.Peacefulness that i experienced during those "two days" has transfigured into dullness .The messages that were the source of my happiness have now become reason for my gloominess.Mobile credit has now become debt.Earlier i never used to keep my mobile on silent but now silence is al i need from my mobile.Earlier i always wanted to talk and never wanted to sleep but now sleep is the only thing i need.
Life can go on for some but not me.When i loved to stay alone,i got friends and now when i have become dependent on them ,everyone has left.
I think the hidden reason which has brought me back to square one is-Education.It has ruined my life.It has become the only parameter which can judge any human being's worth and in proving our worthiness we are ignoring other important facets of our life.
To prevent myself from disturbing others i have deleted the mobile number from my cell but i do not know how to remove it from my brain.Now the condition is such that after every hour i check number of friends in my friendlist(ORKUT,FACEBOOK).I check my mailbox every hour expecting a "hate mail".
I do not know what should i do with the gifts i brought for her.Should i eat all the chocolates myself or should i wait.Should i keep the sneakers i got for her or should i give them away.
Questions are too many but no answers.

i think of her...but she thinks only of him.
God is never partial .If he gave men physical strength and authority to rule this world(though now women are not far behind,in fact they are getting ahead of us), he blessed the fairer sex with a rarer blessing-CHOICE(not the pill).Choice of choosing( which generally cannot be associated with men)their partner.Girls are like dictators ,who can dictate terms on poor guys .They have the heavenly power - who to keep as a keep and who to throw out of their life.Whatever it is, girls cannot be blamed.Actually the problem lies in the fact that ,we think love is incomplete without unification .Thus for men:lass lorn is world gone.
I think there is a really big conspiracy behind this trend.May be by this way God hopes that one day we will understand the true value and definition of love as the saying goes -"too light winning makes the prize light".So to make us realize the true worth of true love this is being done to us(read men).
I looked at a flower and thought it was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen.I thought it to be Glory lily but it was China berry(this is a poisonous flower while the earlier one is not).
Why its always boys running after girls?Why girls never show slightest of interest even though they have soft corner for a person.Either they are too shy to express their feelings or its nothing but unnecessary show-off of misplaced attitude.
Valentine's day is fast loosing its significance.Reasons-
Sudden emergence of thousand new saffron parties has made PDA(public display of affection) next to impossible and on top of that girls now a days are also becoming too selective.God knows what they actually want.Girls are not understanding that everyone cannot get Shahrukh Khan.
In this time of recession ,it is getting worse for flower vendors,gift shop owners,restaurant owners to earn their living because girls are just not ready to commit themselves to anyone.
On 14th Feb i saw florists sitting idle,restaurants and Archies showroom empty.Outside were guys sitting alone hoping to find someone while inside shop owners were hoping on their hopes.Even i was alone, wondering ,how can my jolly nature,high stature and heavy coffer not win me a girl.I think even God is feeling the heat of recession.Mr. Cupid(God of love) i guess is short of arrows.I request God to make some rich people less rich but please provide dear Cupid with credit so that the game of love continues.
In this time of misery and disappointment(read recession) only emotional satisfaction can be a remedy for every one's shattered hopes and for that we need love all around.More and more new couples.So let us take a pledge that from now on we will act Cupid in every one's life and will help others to find their love.One more humble request-Girls please do not be shy to express your love.Your efforts are desperately needed.

Turning Agnostic
My faith in existence of God has been shaken several times but never to the extent it has, this time.I was always told -do good and God will shower you with his blessings .Though i never did any good but God never punished me too severely .But one of my cousins who never killed an ant ,never said anything bad about anyone ,never shouted at anyone is being penalized by HIM -i guess for nothing .
Why there is discrepancy in God's book of accounts?
When there were no medicines and science was unknown ,average life span used to be far less than what it is today.Justice was done to all then also ...and today also.But if this is the case then why has life span increased over the years.Does this imply that quantity and quality of sins has reduced over the years or does this mean that laws of nature have changed to make this world true to its Puranic designation i.e. KALYUG.
I think to make Kalyug more Kalyug he is punishing good and awarding evil.
Finishing sages and stocking criminal.
It is said God sends everyone in this world with equal rights and opportunities .It is their karma which decides their future.If this is so then why a child born in a poor family always lives a penurious life .Why is he born with less privileges as compared to child who is born in a rich family.
I am sure ,some people will point finger to this .They will say those who were born underprivileged are paying the price for the sins they committed in their earlier births.I say to them-from where did they get to know it.Did God tell them?Even if this logic is there behind all this then i am very sorry to say but this logic is very illogical and this should get changed.
Scientists and historians say that first form of life on this Earth was jelly fish,then came early men but no where in the accounts of history there is any strong proof regarding the existence of God on earth.Existence of God is just a myth,that is why we call it mythology.
Though some satellite pictures show the existence of Adam's bridge between India and erstwhile Rameshwaram but that bridge may not necessarily be God's creation.If we can build seven wonders of the world then why we should we wonder at the creation of this wonder(Adam's bridge).
God is noting but a creation of human fear.The things which are detrimental(beneficial) to our existence are given designation of God.Be it water,sun,trees or air etc.If there is no rain then God is angry but if there is good rain then he is happy.We have just interpreted these events to balance out things.Selfishness is what drives us to believe in God.We never consider mosquito as God.We never consider pollution as God.
We have just maneuvered everything to justify our existence otherwise i do not see any logic driving this world.
Albert Einstein understood this stupidity little early and he was justified when he said-"Two things are infinite in this world,universe and human stupidity".
As the heading of my topic suggests i am an agnostic so i do believe ,there can be some super power but i attach very low probability to that.
So GOD if you are there and you have read this then please do not punish me for what i have written .I wrote it just because i cannot relate to events that occur.I just cannot find any justification ,when,i see clean souls being cleansed.
